Hello from Edith!

If you're a regular visitor to Askett Nurseries - we've probably already been introduced - if not, the next time you come in - come up and say hello, and don't forget to give me a pat!

Hello everyone - here's a picture of Alison and me amongst the Christmas Trees.

In the picture it looks nice and warm - but as you can see, I have my new coat on because it was very very cold.

Happy Christmas to all my friends and fans,

love Edith x

Hello everyone! It's me, Edi here.

I have been having a great time at the nursery meeting all the customers.
My best friend Bobby has been to see me, and we have been out walking in the hills.

He is a very naughty dog - so I have to look after him and keep him out of trouble. He knocked a man off his bicycle a few weeks ago, Bobby said it was the man's fault, he shouldn't have been cycling along the lane. Bobby chased after him and the man fell off into the nettles.
Here's a picture of me and Bobby.
I told Bobby to get right at the back because people really want to see me.

Hello everyone, Edi here! Hope you're all well and enjoying your gardens.

Guess what - my friend Bobby came to stay again this week - here's a picture of me and him looking through the window.

I had an adventure this week when I went out with Simon in the van. I love to go in the van when Simon does deliveries. This is what happened - Simon got out of the van and opened the back door to deliver some chipped bark and I sat in the drivers seat. I then stood up to get a good view of what was going on. Simon then closed the back door and I accidentally pushed down the lock on the door - locking Simon out and me in!  Ha! Locked in the van with me was Simon's phone and his wallet - so, he had to go into the customer's house who we were delivering to and ask to borrow the phone and call Alison, and ask her to come out with the spare key and rescue us ! Luckily we were only up the road in Princes Risborough. It was a real adventure!

Anyway, must go - I have rabbits to chase.

See you soon

Me in Simons van

Hello everyone.

It is getting a bit warmer , I think Spring is on the way. Good job too.

I have my friend Bobby staying with me at the moment - his owners have gone on holiday, so he's staying with me . He's only two years old, so as I'm three and a half, I'm in charge. We've already been on some good walks, and we've had some great games.

I have been helping Alison and the girls in the nursery with the pansies and primroses - I don't know how they used to manage without me.

It's getting busier in the nursery now the season has started.

It's good because lots of customers come in - they pretend they come in to buy things for their garden, but they really come in to see me - and I get the chance to go out in the van with Simon delivering things.

Hope you like the picture of me and Bobby.

See you soon, Edith x

Me & Simon

I had a great Christmas time - I got two squeaky toys and some tasty chew-chews - yum.

I must admit, I don't like this winter weather - it's too cold and wet for me. I like to keep warm and dry, so most days at the moment I get settled on a nice chair near the fire , and have a little nap.

Some of my little naps can last all day!

The other day I got thinking about my favourite things - so I've made a list of my top ten.

1. Sausages.

2. Chops (pork or lamb).

3. My chew-chews.

4. Going on deliveries in the van.

5. Having a nap on a cold, wet day.

6. Having a nice long walk in the hills behind the nursery.

7. Running along Cogden Beach in Dorset.

8. Helping Alison with things in the kitchen.

9. Chasing rabbits (not caught one yet).

10. Meeting customers and getting told I'm lovely!

OK, that's all from me at the moment - see you soon.
